How does the supernatural operate within digital or other contemporary structures? How does the digital alter or complicate an understanding of the merely natural? What does it mean for something (or someone) to be gone in a world of infinite redundancies and limitless memory?
Our theme for the next two months is GHOSTED, during which we will be adding works which embrace any and all meanings of that term within a contemporary / digital context. This could include works which speak to digital occultism, hauntology, social isolation, memory (digital, cultural or personal), grief, loss, or online identity. Along the way we’ll also find some time for a classic ghost story or two, with a hypermodern twist.
